Treaty of Versailles
The peace treaty signed on 28 June 1919, five years to the day after the assassination of Franz Ferdinand, which ended the state of war between Germany and most of the Allies. It took six months of Allied negotiations at the Paris Peace Conference, from which Germany was excluded.
