Fokker Scourge
The period from July 1915 to early 1916 when German units flying Fokker Eindecker fighters, the first service aircraft with a machine gun synchronized to fire through the propeller, gained an advantage over the Royal Flying Corps and the French air service. It ended with the arrival of the Airco DH.2 and Nieuport 11.
