Armored car
A wheeled armored fighting vehicle, used for reconnaissance and escort and developed to take over some duties of light cavalry. The Belgian Army made the first effective combat use of one in 1914, but trench warfare was unsuitable for wheeled vehicles, and armored cars were moved to other theaters.
