Narodna Odbrana
A Serbian nationalist society, the name meaning People's Defense, founded on 8 October 1908 in reaction to Austria-Hungary's annexation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It spread propaganda and organized paramilitary forces, and Austria-Hungary's ultimatum of July 1914 demanded that Serbia dissolve it.
