Cruiser
A warship type used for scouting, commerce raiding and operating far from home, ranging from protected cruisers to large armored cruisers almost as big as pre-dreadnoughts. Before the war the armored cruiser evolved into the battlecruiser, while small, fast light cruisers carrying belt and deck armor took over the cruiser's role.
