Agadir Crisis
A brief crisis of 1911, also called the Second Moroccan Crisis, sparked by French troop deployments in Morocco and by the arrival of the German gunboat Panther at the port of Agadir on 1 July. It was resolved on 4 November when France took Morocco as a protectorate in exchange for concessions to Germany.
