Whippet
The British Medium Mark A, a fast tank of about 14 tons and a crew of three, built to exploit gaps made by the slower heavy tanks and the infantry. Two bus-type engines drove one track each. Its first action came on 26 March 1918, when twelve Whippets took German infantry advancing on Colincamps by surprise.
