Fokker Eindecker
A series of German monoplane fighters designed by Anthony Fokker in 1915. The first Eindecker was the first purpose-built German fighter and the first production fighter armed with a synchronized machine gun, which fired through the propeller. It gave Germany air superiority from July 1915 until early 1916, the Fokker Scourge.
