Battlecruiser
A capital ship with the guns of a battleship but thinner armor, on a longer hull with much more powerful engines for higher speed. Designed in Britain as a successor to the armored cruiser, it was meant to outrun anything of similar strength. Experience at Jutland led to a radical revision of the design.
